Game Types
Multiple Choice β A spot on the map is highlighted in yellow. Pick the right answer from 4 options.
Type the Name β A spot is highlighted. Type the name. Typos and abbreviations (Ave/Rd/St) are accepted.
Tap It β You're given a name. Tap the right spot on the map. For cross streets, generous tolerance β your tap doesn't have to be pixel-perfect.
Targets
Streets β Drill on the names of individual streets within the city.
Landmarks β Drill on parks, schools, fire stations, train stations, and other named places.
Cross Streets β Drill on intersections (where two streets meet). Format: "Maple Ave & Cermak Rd".
Difficulty Levels
Hard β Pure memory test. The map has no names on it at all, and only the highlighted answer is drawn β no street outlines, no other landmarks. This is the real drill.
Easy β The same full map as Study but with every name hidden β you still get the buildings, parks and street layout to orient by, plus gray outlines of all the streets. Good for practice when you're still learning an area.
Study β The full map with all street and place names visible. Use this to learn an area before testing yourself. The highlighted answer is still shown so you can see what's being asked.
